Our Courses
At EMCOM Glasgow Academy, we focus on quality over quantity: Small groups, high impact, lasting results. Our training programs combine practical emergency experience with evidence-based communication strategies to strengthen decision-making, teamwork, and leadership under pressure.
CRIS-COM: Crisis Communication & CRM Training
The CRIS-COM course is a five-day intensive program designed to enhance crisis communication and crew resource management skills for emergency professionals. It focuses on strategic, resource-oriented communication and the integration of CRM principles such as situational awareness, role clarity, and error prevention.
Participants learn to maintain communication efficiency and emotional stability under pressure while fostering a culture of constructive feedback and debriefing. Through realistic simulations, case studies, and guided reflection, each participant develops tools to transfer learned strategies directly into daily practice.
With a maximum of fifteen participants per course, we ensure personal guidance and an environment where everyone’s perspective matters. Our philosophy is simple: class over mass, precision over routine, and measurable improvement over theory alone.
Coming Soon
Sentinel: Personal Safety & Situational Awareness Training
SENTINEL is not a self-defence course: It’s a mindset. This three-day training sharpens awareness, perception, and decision-making before danger becomes reality. Participants learn to recognize early warning signs, assess environments, and maintain control through calm observation and clear communication.
In Detail
SENTINEL is designed to enhance personal safety through awareness, not aggression. It focuses on perception, anticipation, and structured decision-making in potentially volatile environments.
Participants explore psychological and environmental cues that indicate risk, learn to identify behavioral escalation patterns, and apply structured communication to de-escalate before conflict arises.
Our philosophy is simple: prevention through perception.
This course does not aim to turn anyone into a defensive fighter, instead, it builds the mental clarity and situational awareness necessary to stay safe and make informed choices when seconds matter.

PED-RESQ – Pediatric Emergency Care & Communication
PED-RESQ goes beyond standard pediatric certificates like PALS or EPC. Developed in cooperation with pediatric specialists and emergency physicians, it delivers practical, evidence-based training focused on real-world application and confidence in critical pediatric situations.
In Detail
PED-RESQ was developed to close the gap between theory and practice in pediatric emergency care. While programs such as PALS or EPC provide valuable frameworks, their long-term impact in daily operations is often limited.
Our approach is different: in close collaboration with pediatricians, children’s hospitals, and pediatric emergency specialists, EMCOM is developing an integrated care and communication concept specifically for frontline responders.
The course focuses on practical assessment, calm team communication, and structured decision-making in high-stress pediatric emergencies.
Scheduled for release in mid-2027, PED-RESQ will set a new standard for pediatric emergency education: Realistic, compassionate, and built for lasting competence.
